Community Centre Coordinator

Working hours: 25 hours per week Monday – Friday 1pm – 6pm flexible
Salary: £14,527 pa (£21,500 FTE)

Age UK is the UK’s leading charity and their vision is to inspire and enable older people over 50 to Love Later Life. Age UK West Sussex, Brighton & Hove (AUKWSBH), is an independent local charity working in the community to help older people, their families and their carers.

They have an exciting opportunity available for a part time Community Centre Coordinator to join the dedicated team at amazing new Kings Weald Centre. They are looking someone who can help build and embed the Centre into the local community working closely with a variety of organisations.

The main purpose of this role is to coordinate and administer the smooth running of the activities and services within the Kings Weald Community Centre. You will need to work closely with the Community Centre manager, colleagues, volunteers, hirers and local communities and be the first point of contract for anyone coming to the centre. You will be part of a dynamic team that puts older people at the heart of all that they do.
