Worth Park History Society

 

Worth Park History Society meets on –

Date: third Tuesday of the month, (except August) 

Time: 2pm – 4pm

Venue: Visitor Centre, Ridleys Court, Worth Park, top of Milton Mount Avenue. Car parking available but limited.

Annual membership fee: at present £10 per person

Also, they have a Costume and Craft Group that meets every Thursday 2pm – 4pm, Venue as above. Their current project is creating a Timeline Frieze of the history of Worth Park and the Montefiore family. All those who participate pay the same annual fee as members of the Worth Park History Society. New members always welcome.

 

The Worth Park Visitor Centre is now being curated by the WPHS and currently open on Wednesday afternoons 1.30pm – 4pm. Other times TBA. The visitor centre has a small museum and a ‘Living Parlour’ set in the Victorian era. As is history, they will always be a work in progress as they discover new things.
