The Business Development Consultant  is responsible for helping Creative Crawley develop a new business model and plan for 2026 – 2029, guiding them through and inspiring them to take risks and test new ideas in the two pop up spaces they are managing in Crawley from January to July 2025.

The role is part mentor to Sophie and Louise who run the company but also someone who can represent the company in the strategic conversations they need to be part of in the town and beyond.

The right person will have extensive knowledge of running arts businesses and buildings, will have a sense of humour, an in-built rigour and the ability to push us further than they thought possible. They need someone who is willing to help in a practical as well as a consultative way. Someone who likes getting stuck in and being part of a team.
