Volunteer Peer Support Worker

Working hours: 10 hrs per week

Salary: Voluntary post

Do you enjoy a challenge where every day is different? Motivating people find a new direction in their life? Working with a diverse range of clients? Utilising your own own lived experiences to be a role model to existing clients.

To support clients with complex and multiple needs, primarily mental health and alcohol/substance misuse, to enable them to address their issues and make positive change in their lives.

To identify relevant support services and to offer personalised support to clients to help them engage successfully and consistently with services.

To implement a person-centred, empowerment-led approach.

Volunteers must have an empathy with our client group and the ability to work within the ethos of Crawley Open House.
