Crawley Growing Together at The West Green Anniversary Garden

In 2003

The West Green Anniversary Garden was created in 1997 to celebrate the jubilee of the New Town. 25 years later (2022) the garden was given a new lease of life by Crawley Borough Councils Neighbourhood services team, creating a wildlife habitat and tranquil place that residents can enjoy. Crawley Community Action have received Shared Prosperity Funding from Crawley Borough Council to bring the garden back to its beauty.

Crawley Community Action has created Crawley Growing Together Project, which will bring the community into the space to join gardening activities that will create a peaceful, relaxing and wildlife filled space a short walk from the town centre.

We will be holding regular sessions for the community to come along to volunteer their time to help revamp the garden space, to meet others and to share their skills or learn new skills.

If you would like to learn more or find out how to get involved, please contact [email protected].

This page will take its shape as the garden starts revamping.
